SACCO BRIEF
SACCO was registered on 5th July 2006 with a membership of 57 (all men) under the name of Shauri Umoja Sacco society ltd. Members were drawn from Shauri location in Nyandarua north District.
In the year 2009, the members decided to change the name to Nyahururu Umoja Sacco society ltd and this was affected on 21st August 2009.
Due to the competition in the world we are at, the Sacco has again rebranded to VIKTAS Sacco to enable them grow without limitation as from the year 2016
LOCATION
Sacco Head quarters are located at GLANIN CENTRE building at Mairo-inya trading centre about 6KM from Nyahururu along Nyahururu-Nyeri Road.
The Sacco has satellite offices at Nyahururu town, Gwakung’u town and Kasuku town.

MANAGEMENT
Viktas Sacco is managed by a team of nine qualified management committee members. There is also a supervisory committee of three members.
EMPLOYEES
The Sacco has permanent employees. Namely the C.E.O, Operations Manager, Internal auditor, Credit manager, Accounts assistant, Marketing officer, ICT Officer, Customer Care, Loan Officer, Recovery Officer, Field Officers, Tellers and Driver.
SACCO MEMBERSHIP
Membership has grown over the years to the current 7000 members for the fully paid up members and 4500 for the non- fully paid up members.
Members consist of farmers, business people, institutional employees, self help groups and Saccos among others.
The Sacco’s membership is drawn from all over Nyandarua and Laikipia counties and other major towns within the republic of Kenya and diaspora.
